Wanstead making a leather case for a hand splitting axe 6th

I bought this Japanese axe from Axminster ten years ago for
kindling production.
Big angle on the cutting edge – maybe too big on very dry
thin woods it makes it travel.
Made a template / stuck in welt / stitched and then wet
moulded on axe.
